Nestled in the mountains, this hotel offers breathtaking views of Lake Como. The rooms are clean, well-furnished, and provide a cozy atmosphere. The recently renovated bathrooms are impeccable, and the friendly staff ensures excellent service. Guests can indulge in a delicious Italian breakfast, with a variety of bread, meat, and other options. Additionally, the location is perfect for hikers, with plenty of scenic paths to explore nearby.

It should be noted that the hotel's remote location makes it somewhat difficult to reach, especially on Sundays when there is no public transport available. This may inconvenience some guests who are reliant on public transportation.

The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, with a beautiful mountain backdrop and a glimpse of the nearby village settling into the night. The Italian breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, including different kinds of bread, meats, butter, and jam. the staff were friendly and professional, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The lack of public transport on Sundays, which we were not aware of beforehand. The absence of buses and taxis made it difficult for us to reach the hotel, and we had to book another place for the first night.

What a fantastic stay at Albergo De Jean! I was greeted warmly and was like I was among friends. The staff were really nice too make me feel welcome, even offering free drinks upon my arrival. The room was simple, yetnice and neat, with a amazing view of the lake from my window. The breakfast may have been simple, but it was of higher quality than many 3-star hotels I've stayed in. The hotel's pizzeria was a pleasant surprise and served delicious food at affordable prices. The atmosphere created by the owner and the crew was very nice, making it feel like I was spending time with my best friends. I had such a great time, filled with fun and laughter, and I only wish I could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return.

Some may find the bidet in the private bathroom unnecessary, but it's just our personal preference.

I chose Albergo De Jean specifically because I wanted to visit the Chiesa di San Gottardo, which was conveniently located nearby. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the free daily manager's reception at the hotel. It was a great opportunity to socialize with other guests and enjoy some complimentary treats.

I always come back to my favorite place. The staff helped me find great places to eat. It has everything I need: Free Wi-Fi, car park, cots, and pets allowed. Perfect for my business trips. No regrets.
